Capital University's School of Management and Leadership invites applicants for a full-time Instructor of Accounting position (non-tenure track) for August of 2025.
The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in teaching and student success and must have subject matter expertise and the ability to teach courses across the undergraduate accounting curriculum and in the MBA program. MBA courses are offered in an evening, hybrid format. Additionally, the ability to teach in one of these business additional disciplines is desirable: management information systems (with Excel), business fundamentals (undergraduate and graduate), international business, and/or ethics. This is a ten-month position teaching 32 credits per academic year at the undergraduate and graduate level. Summer teaching opportunities may be available. The position carries the title of Executive Professor.
The School of Management and Leadership offers undergraduate majors in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, and Marketing, as well as several business-related minors and additional programs under development. In addition, there is a long-standing MBA program.
