Professor - Physical Therapy teaches courses in the discipline area of physical therapy. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Physical Therapy provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Physical Therapy typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting our physical therapists in providing high-quality patient care. - Assist physical therapists and PTA in providing patient care and treatment
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Escort patients to and from therapy sessions
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and provide assistance as needed under the direction and supervision of DPT
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas, light duty cleaning
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control measuresQualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patientsIdeal Candidate would have a flexible schedule to work part time hours. Schedules vary each week.
