Job Summary:
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) shall provide selected physical therapy interventions only under the supervision and direction of a physical therapist. The PTA uses exercise and modalities in the treatment of pain and movement disorders to help restore normal movement and function in accordance to the physician’s referral. This position primarily supports the residents of Wildflower Court.
Essential functions include but are not limited to supporting Bartlett Regional Hospital’s strong commitment to the highest standards of business and professional ethics. Follows professional standards of APTA. Provides services in compliance with all state and federal laws governing the hospital’s operations. Consistently maintains confidentiality of all medical, financial, employee, computer or other information, which might jeopardize the privacy of others. Works as a team member to meet patient and departmental goals.
