Professor - Rehabilitation teaches courses in the discipline area of rehabilitation and therapy. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Rehabilitation provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Rehabilitation typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     Position Summary

    MultiCare Health System is seeking a Rehabilitation Psychologist to provide psychological services for patients and families with rehab related health concerns on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. This position operates independently in providing psychological care to assigned patients. Work situations are of a routine nature yet require analysis, good judgment, decision making, and diplomacy. This position has extensive external contacts, which include patients, families, physicians, and outside organizations and agencies. Internal contacts include inpatient and outpatient patient care staff and management.

    Responsibilities

    • Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA approved clinical psychology training program
    • Completion of one (1) year clinical psychology internship or one year postdoctoral fellowship with a rehabilitation psychology, health psychology, and/or neuropsychology emphasis
    • Licensed or license eligible as a psychologist by the State of Washington

    Pay and Benefit Expectations

    We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $124,248.00 - $168,521.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
