Join Our Team as the Kinship Navigator Manager!

The FrameWorks Kinship Navigator Program is dedicated to supporting relative and kinship families by connecting them with essential services and resources. Our mission is to ensure that all the needs of these families are met promptly and effectively. We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Kinship Navigator Manager to lead our team!

Position Overview:

As the Kinship Navigator Manager, you will oversee a team of 6 to 8 Kinship Navigators, ensuring they provide high-quality support to families in need. Your leadership will be crucial in managing daily operations, addressing challenges, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance our services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision & Management: Directly supervise Kinship Navigators, managing day-to-day activities, timesheets, and conducting annual performance reviews.
• Referral Management: Accept and assign referrals, track progress, and address any issues, including adjusting caseload sizes and maintaining communication with the Department of Human Services (DoHS).
• Barrier Resolution: Follow the chain of command to resolve barriers identified by Navigators when they have exhausted their resources.
• Collaboration: Work closely with DoHS staff, as well as community resources, both individually and systemically.
• Reporting: Compile monthly and year-end reports addressing barriers and developing response plans to close service gaps, submitting reports for approval.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree and management experience.
• A valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance are required.
• Skills

o Familiarity with the kinship care system and governmental/community resources, or a strong willingness to learn quickly.

o Highly organized with excellent technology skills, including proficiency in database management.

Additional Details:

• Work Environment: This position is based in our Hurricane office. Some telework options may be available, following company policy.
• Travel Requirements: Most days will be based in Hurricane, WV office, with some travel required. Partial telework is optional.
