Program Manager coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Negotiates and prepares contracts by considering the financial conditions, resources, and contractual requirements. Being a Program Manager develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Additionally, Program Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Prepares proposals to win new programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a department head. The Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     • Communicates Camp Invention’s mission and value to a broad audience, delivering messaging that connects with our target audience of parents, students, educators, and school administrators
    • Trains and motivates program staff to drive enrollment and ensure delivery of a first-rate experience, leaving children and parents completely satisfied with their camp experience
    • Assists in marketing efforts; attends conferences to promote program
    • Manages administrative logistics of establishing and running camps, inclusive of marketing, training, and distribution of program materials
    • Meets and exceeds sales targets
    • Manages a regional budget
    • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
    Knowledge , Skills and Abilities:
    • Knowledge of the education market and or local educational communities
    • Superior interpersonal and business communication skills that are customer centric
    • Ability to see the big picture while managing day-to-day logistics
    • Creative problem-solving skills to help address customer needs
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    Credentials and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Minimum two years sales and business development experience with a proven track record of growth and reaching sales goals
    • Direct or support role experience working in geographic territory sales
    • Experience managing, motivating, and mentoring contracted staff
    • Ability to attend trade shows - experience preferred
    • Experience working with educators, the education market and/or local educational communities preferred
    • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce a plus
    • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
