Program Manager (Non-Profit) manages a team that coordinates the programs of a non-profit organization. Designs and implements programs that support the organization's mission, vision, and goals. Being a Program Manager (Non-Profit) monitors program operations for quality, efficiency and effectiveness. Utilizes a client relationship management (CRM) or another system to organize information and facilitate outreach communications, perform forecasting, and measure the performance of programs. Additionally, Program Manager (Non-Profit) implements a fundraising and development strategy to identify potential donors or funding sources and conduct outreach initiatives. Collaborates with partners to ensure that special events publicize the organization and its programs to the community and support its goals. May assist in the development of grant applications or proposals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Program Manager (Non-Profit) manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.     RESPONSIBILITIES

    Programming Execution and Growth

    ●      Manage all local program operations and logistics and grow local programs
    ●      Build and maintain key community relationships to support organizational growth and sustainability
    ●      Develop relationships with current and future program partners
    ●      Serve as lead point of contact for local partnerships
    ●      Serve as lead coach or site lead for local youth sports programs throughout the week
    ●      Collaborate with Volo Kids market leads across the country to evolve product quality and program growth
    ●      Collect program metrics and analysis throughout the season and utilize tools provided for tracking and evaluating
    ●      Work closely with leadership to execute seasonal program evaluations in order to maintain a high level of program execution
    ●      Develop seasonal and annual plans to expand the impact of your market through strategic partnerships, gap analysis, and product quality

    Operations and Logistics

    ●      Oversee daily operations of all programs, including equipment and shirt inventory, snack distribution, and venue oversight
    ●      Oversee Volo Kids registration platform including: program builds, template creation, and in-season communication
    ●      Support all customer service efforts in the market, and serve as elevation point

    Volunteer and Staff Management

    ●      Support recruitment and retention efforts for talented part-time youth sports coaches, referees, and site leads
    ●      Identify new platforms and partnerships to grow volunteer pool
    ●      Oversee all Onboarding, training, and recruitment efforts in the market
    ●      Execute local payroll process for all part-time youth sports coaches, referees, and site leads
    ●      Schedule staffing and volunteer recruitment events - including part time staff interviews, recruitment fairs, pre-season training, mid-season check-ins, end of season celebrations, and staff appreciation events
    ●      Create and execute a staff evaluation and success plan, including shadow shifts, continued training and development, tiered perks, and the collection of supporting data and metrics.
    ●      Compile staff and volunteer feedback for review, and manage feedback analysis
    ●      Assure quality and strength of all staffing at sports programs through site visits and serve as site lead whenever necessary

    Expand Impact Via Marketing, Community Outreach, Partnerships & Events

    ●      Increase brand awareness for the Volo Kids Foundation through community events and local partnerships; Be the outreach event lead & attend events as needed
    ●      Strategically track effectiveness of these events by measuring growth in recruitment numbers for volunteers and kids at our programs
    ●      Identify community events for Volo Kids Foundation to promote offerings and endure proper staffing of community outreach volunteers

    Fundraising & Development

    ●      Collect data & provide analysis to support future funding opportunities
    ●      Execute fundraising activities with the support of city team and local hosts


    MUST-HAVES

    ●      BA or BS degree; minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience
    ●      Demonstrated success in leading program strategies with the ability to identify and respond to opportunities with tailoring, designing and managing innovative, high-quality programs
    ●      Ability to work nights and weekends (hours will include time in the office and on-site coaching at programs)
    ●      Can marshal resources effectively and comfortably navigate a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with minimal supervision
    ●      Detail-oriented project manager – you have experience managing multiple projects across function areas and feel comfortable wearing many hats
    ●      Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    ●      Dynamic personality interested in working in, and contributing to, a fun and active work environment - inside the office and out in the field!
