Program Supervisor coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Responsible for aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts. Being a Program Supervisor develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules and develops solutions to program problems. Additionally, Program Supervisor recommends changes to improve process efficiency and alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Program Supervisor contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. 1. Supervise homemaker personal care staff and Lead Staff.
2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service sites and assure services to the consumers based upon their ISP/IEP/IHP.
3. Be available to staff and consumers on an on-call basis. a. Make decisions on a call-by-call basis concerning the day-to-day operations of the service sites assigned. b. Call the Program Coordinator/Area Director as needed for assistance in making decisions. c. Communicate all incidents as requested by the Program Coordinator/County Director.
4. Participate in New Employee Training as assigned.
5. Assure compliance to CSS policies and procedures by training staff and implementing disciplinary action on a progressive basis per CSS Policy and Procedure.
6. Adhere to budgetary constraints assigned to the sites in which you supervise.
7. Investigate all incidents of unknown origin and assure follow-up documentation.
8. Assure appropriate notifications per CSS Policy and County Procedure.
9. Oversee the living arrangements of consumers. a. Ensure compliance with consumer’s Bill of Rights. b. Manage consumer accounts per their interdisciplinary plan, assuring accountability for all consumer funds. c. Assist with consumer medical appointments as needed. d. Visit service sites as necessary to assure appropriate services are being delivered per interdisciplinary plan no less than twice weekly for all 24- hour sites and no less than twice monthly for all drop in sites. e. Prepare assessments and reports concerning consumers as requested. f. Ensure that all needs of the consumers assigned are fulfilled. g. Ensure that home meet all regulatory standards set forth by governing agencies.
10. Complete evaluations for all employees that you supervise per CSS policy and procedures.
11. Assure staff completion of training per policy and regulation.
12. Assist in the hiring process as assigned by the Program Coordinator/County. Director
13. Participate as a trainer for all staff as assigned by the Program Coordinator/County Director/HR Coordinator.
14. Work in conjunction with the Program Coordinator/QMRP/County Director of your site to assure all programmatic needs are being met.
15. Communicate to your Program Coordinator/County Director behavioral, medical problems and medication issues that may arise.
16. Assist with any redeterminations for your consumers with the department of human services.
17. Hold monthly meetings with staff and consumers and assure appropriate documentation of these meetings to be given to the Program Coordinator/County Director.
18. Coordinate on-call services for the site you supervise.
19. Attend all interdisciplinary and special meetings.
20. Assist in UIR/MUI process as assigned.
21. Assure completion of BAT sheets and hand them into the county office as directed.
22. Act as a liaison between CSS and regulatory agencies.
23. Adhere to all policies in the CSS Policy and Procedure Manuals.
24. Attend any meetings or training’s deemed necessary by Program Coordinator/Area Director.
25. Adhere to all safety standards set forth per regulatory agencies and CSS.
26. Perform all duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator/County Director.
