Facilities Maintenance Team Lead
Team Leads supervise teams of Project Coordinators, Managers and Assistants that work facility maintenance / construction projects from beginning to end. Knowledge of the Facility Maintenance industry and the ability to manage the team to successful performance under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment are important to success.
Our projects include scopes of work across all maintenance / construction trades, including plumbing, general repair, HVAC, parking lots, remediation, etc. Managerial experience in commercial construction and/or facility maintenance is required. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and a demonstrated ability to learn new concepts quickly. Core competency requirements include critical thinking, problem solving, attention to detail, exceptional people management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Lead a team of Project Managers & Project Coordinators (8-12 direct reports) on a multi-million-dollar team and serve as a resource for overall company success
Review and approve 20-40 customer quotes per day across a variety of scopes
Ensure customers’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
Drive performance and schedule accordingly to meet production targets
Communicate ideas for improving processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and foster development of this attitude in others
Effectively respond to and follow through with agreements – consistently meeting and exceeding commitments with a focus on quick turnaround
Coach and mentor new team members to succeed in their role
In-depth understanding of construction/facilities processes, procedures, and materials
3-5 years of demonstrated supervisory experience
Superior problem solving and critical thinking skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Demonstrated excellence in customer facing communication & customer service
Must be willing to work on-call shifts

Salary range: $65,000 - $75,000.00 per year plus bonus opportunities
