About the Opportunity

Reporting to the VP, Controlling Filtration, the Plant Controller will act as a business partner to Plant and Financial Management to effectively manage and control the plant operations. This individual is responsible for planning, accounting, and reporting for the plant.

Essential Functions and Primary Responsibilities

• Provide strategic management of the cost accounting functions
• Ensure cost center accounting and standard costs are accurate
• Provide product cost calculations for purchased or manufactured products as needed
• Ensure inventories (count and valuations) are accurate
• Provide timely detailed production variance analysis
• Forecast plant result according to group processes and rules (FC, AP)
• Support working capital management
• Assist the Business Unit in profitability analysis
• Act as financial contact for external and internal stakeholders working for local compliancy
• Ensure accuracy of periodic accruals
• Ensure the plant has an efficient internal control framework in place
• Identify and monitor cost savings opportunities
• Support continuous improvement programs
• Analyze and report the total result of the plant
• Monthly, quarterly and year end reporting
• Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports
• Provide investment analysis, including actual pay-back of closed projects
• Key contact for local auditors

Minimum Occupational Requirements

• A Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, required
• CPA License, preferred
• A minimum of 3 of experience in a Controller position in a manufacturing or industrial working with inventory
• Knowledge of SAP, HFM, Orderplan, preferred
• Operational processes (Lean, Cost trackers, KPI) and standard costing knowledge, required
• High level of initiative and independence in managing responsibilities required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,805.24 - $110,000.00 per year
