Position Overview: As a Marketing Coordinator at Dorsett Controls, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand presence, driving engagement, and supporting the overall marketing strategy. The Marketing Coordinator will organize and facilitate marketing activities for Dorsett Controls and liaise between the organization and our outside marketing consultants, ensuring that marketing projects are executed efficiently and timely. The role also assists with strategy and implementation of our marketing plan, including both internal and external communications.

Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative content for various channels, including website, social media, blogs, and marketing collateral.
2. Digital Marketing: Coordinate with marketing consultants the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media management, and online advertising, to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
3. Brand Management: Ensure consistency in branding across all channels and materials, adhering to brand guidelines.
4. Event Coordination: Assist in coordinating, planning, and execution of marketing and other events. Assist with the design and procurement of marketing materials including trade show booths, promotional items and other event activities such as webinars to promote Dorsett Controls.
5. Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor marketing activities to identify best practices in marketing our products and services and assist with strategy development.
6. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing efforts, providing regular reports and insights for continuous improvement.
7. Communications: Oversee and/or coordinate all internal and external communications
8. Networking: Creates and maintain relationships with local networking organizations.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
· Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
· Demonstrated experience and proficiency managing corporate social media.
· Demonstrable creativity in areas including but not limited to graphic design, typography and videography.
· Proven experience in marketing roles, preferably in the technology, automation and controls, or software industry in a business to business (b2b) company
· Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms
· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
