Colliers Engineering & Design's bridge experts partner with our clients to understand project objectives, while formulating solutions that result in successful outcomes that are safe, efficient, economical and sensitive to the environment. This highly skilled team of professionals offers a full range of bridge services from scoping, planning and preliminary engineering through final design, for small to large scale bridges.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the success of the projects under his/her management.
- Handle all aspects for a project.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to individuals.
- Plan, organize, and supervise the work and workload of project staff.
- Monitor project costs to ensure that project is delivered within budget, fulfills customer expectations for schedule and quality, and/or aligns with the company strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience of AASHTO compliant bridge design/management experience.
- Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in Maine or be able to be licensed in Maine.
- Ability to lead multi-discipline bridge projects for public and private sector clients.
- An established business network with MaineDOT and Municipal clients and contractors.
- Prior experience with the Federal-Aid project delivery process.
- Proven ability to manage bridge projects and lead multi-disciplinary teams meeting schedule, budget and quality.
- Proven ability to identify, pursue, and win work.
- Ability to work remotely with team members in other offices.
- Familiarity with construction engineering, AREMA based rail bridge design, and/or design build procurement a plus.
