Project Manager/Estimator

MCP is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. The selected candidate will lead the estimation, planning, and management of projects, ensuring their successful execution. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive projects forward and contribute to MCP's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare project execution documents, submittals, communications, change orders, and O&Ms.

· Lead foreman and installation crews to monitor and oversee project progress effectively.

· Generate detailed and accurate cost estimates for upcoming projects, emphasizing competitiveness and precision.

· Analyze project specifications and blueprints to formulate comprehensive estimates.

· Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.

· Manage and analyze records of project documents, budgets, and financial reports.

· Engage with vendors to obtain competitive quotes and ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.

· Actively participate in project meetings, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues that arise.

· Procure materials and equipment as required, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.

· Enforce strict adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

· Conduct project risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies.

· Prepare thorough and accurate project proposals and bid submissions.

· Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and estimation tools.

· Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.

· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

· Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.

· Proficient in public speaking and technical writing.
