PROJECT MANAGER/ESTIMATOR

Responsible for directing and organizing projects from start to finish, attending pre-construction and job status meetings, purchasing, scheduling labor and deliveries, completing change orders, billing, communicating with job foremen to ensure project goals are continuously being met.

Developing and growing professional relationships with customers and vendors.

Respond to bid invitations, gather, and review vendor quotes, plans and other documents for bid submissions.

Read and interpret scope of work and specifications to prepare cost estimates for material, labor, indirect labor, subcontractors, equipment rental, quoted material, and general expenses for bid packages.

Project Manager/Estimator Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, work on multiple projects at one time
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with computers and typing

Project Manager/Estimator Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or 3 years electrical construction field experience.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical construction materials and methods.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Motivated self-starter who also works well in a team setting.
• Effective communication skills to develop strong working professional relationships.
• Trade knowledge and familiarity of electrical codes and practices.
• Demonstrated success in winning bids.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
