Wohali is a fast-growing real estate development and private ultra-luxury community in its start-up phase comprising of our own construction team and the imminent introduction of our resort services. We are looking for an Estimator/Project Manager who acts as a key business partner to our Director of Architecture and the senior management team.

The estimator will need to have the knowledge to read blueprints, understand construction concepts and use computer programs that estimate costs and labor time for each stage of a project. The estimator collects and analyzes data to estimate the money, materials, labor and time that a project requires, in addition to its associated overhead expenses including recommendations for how project managers can reduce costs. The estimator also maintain detailed records of both the estimated and actual costs throughout the entire project life cycle.

Being part of a start-up team, given the nature of this role on the design and development of construction projects and the company, we believe it is essential for the Estimator/Project Manager to be on site to embrace our company, its teams and the community we are building.  

Expectation:

• Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints meticulously to provide precise estimations of costs and required materials.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather essential information necessary for accurate estimates.
• Employ construction management software to develop comprehensive project schedules and detailed cost breakdowns.
• Execute construction estimating tasks, including conducting quantity takeoffs, analyzing pricing, and evaluating subcontractor bids.
• Interpret blueprints and construction drawings proficiently to accurately estimate material quantities and costs.
• Maintain meticulous records of project estimates, change orders, and cost tracking throughout the project's duration.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clear comprehension of project requirements and expectations.
• Coordinate and oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to budget constraints and timely delivery.
