Job Summary

Full-Time Receptionist to support our Property & Casualty Insurance division.  We are in search of an enthusiastic, computer-savvy individual for an over-the-phone customer-facing role which is critical to maintaining a positive image of our organization. This position is located in Highland Park MI, you must reside in the state of Michigan. 

Our administrators are provided with in-depth training and our formal development program provides continuous skill enhancement and internal career advancement based on performance.

• The position is 80% Remote (4 days a week) and 20% in office (1 day – professional office in Northern Wayne County, MI).

Job Duties

• Answer phones in a friendly, positive, and warm manner
• Process inbound mail
• Assign work activities to team members
• Assist licensed insurance advisors in performing service tasks (mailing, email insurance policies, data entry)

• Provide clear and effective communication with clients and internal teams,

Qualifications

• 1 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred
• Property and Casualty Insurance Industry experience preferred
• Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel
• Experience utilizing a Customer Relationship Management system to enter and manage data
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to follow instruction
• Ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
• Ability to answer positively, energetically inbound calls throughout the day
• Must be available to work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 8am EST and 830pm EST, Monday - Saturday.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your work environment aligns with the outlined: A dedicated workspace that is quiet and free from noises that could be distracting to the employee, such as:

• Children, family members, friends, and neighbors
• Pets and pet distractions
• Television and Radio
• Outdoor activities
• The environment cannot be in a location that is recorded by video or audio at any time unless Qualfon requires it.
• The environment must be in a location where screens face away from all windows and cannot be viewed outside of the home or outside of the room. The work environment should be in a closed space surrounded by walls, with all doors closed as needed.

Depending on the client's support, there may be additional environmental requirements

Technical and System Requirements:

• You will be provided a computer
• High-speed Internet via wired ethernet connection, no WI-FI, Satellite or Hot spot
• Upload speed of 3 Mbps; Download speed of 16 Mbps
• The Internet service provider (ISP) must be highly stable with 1% or less packet loss
• Latency under 100ms.
• All Hires must have an available cell phone or tablet and be able to install our required 2FA software for Multifactor authentication on that device.
