Job Description:
We are looking for a committed and proactive Real Estate Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to serving first-time homebuyers, providing consistent follow-up, and offering personalized and compassionate solutions to help clients overcome obstacles. These obstacles may include credit issues, income or budget challenges, and overall market conditions.
Responsibilities:
Client Outreach & Qualification:
- Proactively and consistently contact graduates of our first-time homebuyer program to understand their needs, obstacles, and readiness to enter the real estate market.
- Identify any financial challenges, knowledge gaps, or other issues that may delay their path to homeownership, and offer appropriate guidance and resources
Buyer Consultation & Solutions:
- Work closely with first-time buyers to listen to their requirements, preferences, and long-term goals.
- Provide tailored solutions, such as recommending suitable mortgage programs, community resources, or property options that fit their criteria.
Property Showings & Expert Advice:
- Schedule and conduct property tours for first-time buyers, explaining the features of the homes and neighborhoods.
- Offer expert advice to ensure clients make informed decisions, addressing concerns about pricing, future value, and the home-buying process.
Relationship Building & Client Retention:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for all things related to homeownership, beyond just the property transaction.
Negotiation & Transaction Management:
- Prepare and present offers on behalf of clients, negotiating terms that meet their needs while maintaining professionalism with sellers and other agents.
- Collaborate with mortgage lenders, title companies, and other real estate professionals to ensure a smooth home-buying experience from start to finish.
Professional Development & Market Knowledge:
- Attend team meetings, training sessions, and development programs to enhance skills and stay current on market trends.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local real estate market conditions, housing regulations, and best practices in the industry.
Qualifications:
- Have or be willing to obtain Massachusetts Real Estate License.
- Experience not necessary however Sales experience is a plus
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and provide appropriate solutions.
- At least a basic understanding of credit, budgeting and debt management
- Comfortable using technology and CRM tools to manage clients, track progress, and follow up with clients.
