Public Relations Specialist jobs in Greenville, MS

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Proficiency in computer software applications; Proficiency of relevant Board software programs a plus
• Ability to operate office equipment such as computer, calculators, copiers, fax machines, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills as well as written and oral communication skills
• Such other qualifications as the Board may deem acceptable and appropriate
• Knowledge of district policies, and best practices

REPORTS TO:  Superintendent and/or Superintendent Designee

JOB GOALS: 

Secretary (Superintendent/School Board): To assure the smooth and efficient operations of the Superintendent’s office and Board processes and procedures for maximum positive impact on the education of students. 

Public Relations: To implement the district’s communication plans and strategies to continually enhance the relationship between the district and staff, students, parents, and community by providing consistent, reliable, timely and engaging information via a variety of outreach methods.  

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  Salary and work year established by NBCSD School Board

EVALUATION:  Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Certified Personnel.
