Public School Teacher jobs in Concord, NH
Public School Teacher prepares lesson plans and instructs students in an assigned school. Develops and implements grade appropriate course work, activities, and assessments to meet the academic needs of children in a K-12 classroom setting. Being a Public School Teacher evaluates and monitors student's performance. Assesses and documents students' progress. Additionally, Public School Teacher participates in development and implementation of Individual Education Plans for specific students. Resolves classroom issues and conflicts. May participate in implementing special programs for students. May supervise teaching assistants. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require specific state-level teaching license. Typically requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Typically reports to a principal. The Public School Teacher occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Title: Fifth Grade Classroom Teacher for 24/25 school year
Terms of Employment: Full-Time, School Year
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and hold (or be eligible to hold) a NH Elementary Educator Certification
Job Goals: The teacher is up to date regarding curriculum content and effectively plans instruction, assessment of student learning and monitors students’ understanding of the curriculum. The teacher establishes and encourages a positive student learning environment and provides clear communication with students. The teacher uses appropriate instructional techniques as well as continually evaluates, experiments and refines instructional strategies while managing the classroom environment. The teacher fulfills professional responsibilities including sharing responsibility for the accomplishment of school and system-level goals and policies.
