    Overview:

    Promise Neighborhoods of the Lehigh Valley is a Black led, anti-racist, women centered, liberation based, grassroots organization focused on healing and wellness through leadership development, violence prevention and Reentry, racial justice and health equity and community capacity building.

    Position Summary:

    The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing, planning, and executing a specific program within the organization. This role involves managing all aspects of the program, including program performance, budgeting, staffing, implementation, evaluations, funding requirements. The Program Manager will be a liaison to the Community Project Office and will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the program aligns with organizational goals and delivers measurable outcomes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Program Planning and Development:
    • Develop and implement program plans, including defining goals, objectives, and timelines.
    • Identify and allocate resources necessary for program execution.
    • Design program strategies and initiatives to achieve desired outcomes.
    • Budget and Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
    • Monitor expenditures and prepare regular financial reports.
    • Seek additional funding opportunities through grants, sponsorships, or partnerships.
    • Staff Management:
    • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers.

    Provide ongoing support, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities for team members.

    • Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
    • Implementation and Execution:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring activities are executed according to plan.


    Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program activities are aligned and integrated.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during program execution.
    • Monitoring and Evaluation:
    • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess program performance.
    • Collect, analyze, and report data on program outcomes and impact.
    • Use feedback and evaluation results to make data-driven improvements to the program.
    • Stakeholder Engagement:

    Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, partners, and community members.

    • Represent the program and organization at meetings, conferences, and public events.
    • Communicate program progress and outcomes to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and other

    media.

    • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure program activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
    • Prepare and submit required reports to funders, regulatory bodies, and organizational leadership.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to program activities.

    Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Master’s degree preferred.
    • Experience and Skills:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management or a related role.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering programs.
    • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
    • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
    • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in using project management and office software.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all CNPE stakeholders.
    • Proficient in the use of personal computers, office productivity software, and common business computer technologies (e.g., Windows, Word, Excel, printers, copiers, and scanners).
    • Experience with Salesforce preferred. Experience with Soapbox would be amazing.
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to multitask to complete a wide variety of tasks and projects.
    • Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
    • Flexibility to adjust to new strategies, procedures, and tasks as the organization evolves.
    • Collaborative problem solving by seeking input and ideas from others.
    • Reliability and discretion with sensitive information.
    • Ability to function with and without close supervision.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Able to complete all pertinent clearances to secure a position within PNLV.

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Willingness and ability to have a flexible schedule, which includes weekend events when necessary.
    • Must be bondable.
    • Transportation to attend meetings, events, and various functions as required.
    • Ability to work on site, daily.
