Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various types of presses to produce high-quality metal parts. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements and Duties:

• Have at least a few years experience setting up and operating narrow web label presses such as Mark Andy and Nilpeter style machines.
• Completes make ready in accordance with the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox’s are used.
• Operates press to produce product in accordance to customer specifications while maintain quality, waste, and press efficiency.
• Maintains consistent quality during the production run.
• Responsible for completing all required quality checks related to product specifications, visual, and functional checks. Completes all press-side quality checks.
• Performs critical quality checks includes: copy, color, and registration, and ink adhesion. Ensure conformance to all other quality checks.
• Responsible for completing all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the company standards.
• Completes press make ready in an efficient manner.
• Follows all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines. Reports all safety concerns or issues to their immediate supervisor. Safety is Priority #1.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and area. Completes daily housekeeping assignments.
• Inputs all required information into the Company MIS system for material usage and time in an accurate and prompt manner.
• Completes all required equipment maintenance duties.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance as required.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
