SUMURI LLC is a leading digital forensics and cybersecurity company that specializes in providing cutting-edge solutions to law enforcement, government agencies, and private sector organizations. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Purchasing Agent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

● Vendor Management:

• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with new vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors to ensure favorable terms for SUMURI LLC.
• Regularly review vendor performance and address any issues or concerns.

● Purchase Order Processing:

• Create and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services by coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Track and monitor order status to prevent delays and resolve any issues that may arise.

● Cost Analysis and Budgeting:

• Conduct cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage budgets for procurement activities.
• Implement cost-effective procurement strategies.

● Inventory Management:

• Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production and project requirements.
• Coordinate with various departments to forecast inventory needs and prevent stock outs or excess inventory.

● Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and agreements.
• Work closely with the legal team to review and approve contracts.

● Supplier Relationship Management:

• Foster positive and collaborative relationships with key suppliers.
• Work with suppliers to address issues, improve performance, and drive continuous improvement.

● Market Research:

• Stay informed about market trends, new products, and industry best practices.
• Provide insights and recommendations to the management team on market conditions and potential opportunities.

● Other:

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or proven experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar role.

●Strong negotiation and communication skills.
● Familiarity with digital forensics and cybersecurity products is a plus.
● Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
