We are seeking a team player that wants to join our family-oriented Manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have 2 – 3 years prior purchasing experience or equivalent. Requirements:

Duties (Typical tasks):
· Compiling and placing purchase orders
· Following up on open purchase orders and scheduled delivery dates
· Entering or overseeing receipt of purchase orders
· Negotiating and managing blanket purchase orders
· Negotiating pricing with vendors
· Expediting parts as needed based upon customer sales and requirements
· Sourcing vendors for new parts or price comparisons
· Updating shortage lists and production schedules with dates parts are expected and once received
· Resolving issues with vendors on discrepant orders and parts
· Establish and maintain proper relations with vendors and their representatives
