Purchasing Supervisor supervises daily procurement and purchasing operations and implements the strategy to provide the materials and services to meet organizational requirements for quality, volume, availability, and pricing. Maintains strategic supplier relationships, negotiates pricing, monitors performance, and expedites to respond to changes in demand or disruptions in the supply chain. Being a Purchasing Supervisor collaborates with other functions to meet current and future inventory requirements and manage inventory levels. Utilizes technical tools to analyze data and increase responsiveness to material demands. Additionally, Purchasing Supervisor performs auditing processes to ensure procurement and recordkeeping comply with any applicable industry or governmental regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Purchasing Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Purchasing Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. To support our rapid growth, we’re seeking a dynamic Account Executive, Private Equity.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing contract revenue across both new and existing customers (members.) Working in alignment with Client Executives, you will serve as the account owner for a defined list of members and prospects across portfolio companies owned by specific Private Equity Firms.
You will be responsible for driving the sales cycle to completion before transitioning the account to the Member Success team for implementation. Building relationships with senior leaders in procurement, IT, HR, Logistics and other areas will be paramount to your success as you interact with new members to generate new business opportunities and up-sell to expand revenue across existing members.
