Being a QC Inspector II requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes. In addition, QC Inspector II typically reports to a supervisor. Working as a QC Inspector II typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. May be entry level if some experience in the skill. Independent QA/QC Services is seeking experienced Quality Control Inspector to assist with the electrical department in the following:
Key Responsibilities
– Accurately interpret and read intermediate drawings & electrical schematics for inspection.
– Perform complex measurements with the use of all hand tools.
– Perform basic and mid-level electrical measurements.
– Perform general measurements using various mechanical and electrical tools.
– Oversee intermediate in-process, visual, receiving, FAIR (First Article Inspection Report), and
final inspection.
– Produce detailed documentation (Inspection Reports, punch lists, etc.).
– Work with the QA department to ensure that good quality work is always being performed.
Qualifications
– High School Diploma or GED required.
– 3-5 years of experience as an Inspector
– Knowledge of all hand tools (Calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.)
– Electrical plan/schematic reading is required.
– 3-5 years’ experience in the electrical trade.
– OSHA 10 or 30 required.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
– This position requires the employee to occasionally stand, walk, and be around the production
area.
– Normal to corrected vision is required.
– Various electrical and chemical environments.
– Experience level: 3-10 years in the electrical trades.
– Schedule: 8–10-hour shift (Overtime may be required).
