Quality Assurance Coordinator - Healthcare jobs in Jackson, MS

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
• 5 years in management role
• 3 years quality experience - preferably in food or beverage industry
• 2 years of manufacturing experience with beverage, food or liquid consumer products
• Microsoft Office Skills
• HACCP certified

Job duties:

• Lead and implement the Food Safety Modernization Act on plant floor
• Implement and ensure corporate quality assurance programs
• Monitor finished product quality results 
• Monitor department spending and budget
• Ensure plant is audit and inspection ready at all times
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives
• Develop and document HACCP and QACCP plans for plant
• Stay current with all key industry, regulatory, and certifying agency guidelines
• Oversee management of change at plant
• Manage regulatory components within assigned region to include process filings, water quality testing, unannounced inspections, requirements associated with label compliance and net weight, etc.
