JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Coordinator reports to the Laboratory Quality Assurance Manager or Quality Specialist and is responsible for supporting the overall quality assurance program by assisting in essential functions and tasks to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and company standards while ensuring traceable and defensible data.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide technical and troubleshooting assistance and support to routine and non- routine testing issues
Perform GLP audits (In-Process, Final report, Facility) as scheduled by the QA Manger or QA Specialist.
Assist the Quality Assurance Manager/Specialist with audits, data evaluations and statistical reviews
Ensure applicable data is collected and documented as required
Assist in identifying non-conformances, performing root cause analysis and developing corrective actions
Reviews and assists in the revision of SOPs in accordance with ISO 17025, NELAC, EPA methods and requirements
Writes technical and quality system reports
Maintain Quality Management System documentation in Microbac’s Intellect Software System or other software systems
Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s ’s degree in Chemistry or a related field of scientific study or equivalent combination of work and/or education in lieu of degree
Minimum 1 year of experience
Technical familiarity with testing methodologies
Ability to read and interpret technical data
Ability to detect inaccuracies in documentation
Basic understanding of methodologies used in an analytical chemistry laboratory
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats
Ability to work in Quality Management System software system and Microsoft Office Suite
