SUMMARY

This role is within the Quality Assurance organization. The main aspect of the role includes, but is not limited to: Working within the Quality Assurance organization to improve quality of Icon Health & Fitness products built by foreign vendors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following.

• Analyze data to determine the cost drivers for quality defects for different products Icon Health & Fitness design and sell.
• Generating quality reports on a weekly basis to inform / educate and develop product improvements.
• Analyzing online reviews to understand the customer’s perspective of our products.
• Provide data/information to assist the design team in understanding clearly the key issues for the development of new product designs.
• Must show good judgment and problem solving skills, with the ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of information, summarize, and present in a clear format, even when dealing with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Requires periodic travel to factories in Asia (mostly China or Taiwan)
• The individual must be self-motivated.
• Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• One year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of Quality Assurance processes and techniques would be beneficial.
• Proficient in both Microsoft and Google software.
