Being a Quality Assurance Nurse reviews and analyzes customer complaints. May need to help train staff on new or improved clinical practices. Additionally, Quality Assurance Nurse requires an associate's degree/bachelor's degree and is licensed to practice nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. JOB DESCRIPTION:
This individual will be working under the direction of the VP of Operations and will manage the quality assurance function in our Vancouver, Washington location. This position includes a combination of Management Supervision and anticipation in the tasks necessary to ensure that Mercury Plastics, Inc. manufactures safe and consistent products of the highest quality as well as all products are in compliance with client’s specs and company standards. This individual must have strong leadership skills and is expected to adhere to Mercury Plastics, Inc. standards of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Loyalty, Caring and Commitment.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Supervises Quality Control Technicians.
•
Helps Q/A QC Supervisor in the development, coordinate, and supervision of the Q/A QC program
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
•
Bachelor of Science in Industrial Mfg. with appropriate Q/A experience.
•
Must have 3-4 years previous Q/A experience in the Mfg. industry with 1-2 years as a supervisor.
•
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
•
Ability to handle multiple priorities in order to meet company demands.
•
Bilingual Spanish/ English is a plus.
•
Must be adaptable and flexible in work schedule.
•
Assertive, high-energy person
•
Strong leadership skills and communication skill are essential.
•
Excellent planning skills, record keeping/documentation skills.
•
Ability to work independently. Team-focused mentality.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds. This position spends 50% or more of the work time in the Manufacturing Plant.

Regular exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, fumes and chemicals.
