Duties

• Determines contractor's effectiveness.
• Uses technical knowledge of food service operations to implement surveillance techniques and procedures to inspect food service facilities.
• Examines such records as receipts, inventories, purchases, and other administrative documents to verify the propriety of contractor transactions, charges, and timeliness of service.
• Acts as liaison between the Chief, Installation Food Service Division and Organizational commanders.
• Replaces the Installation Food Program Manger in his absence or during mobilization.
• Develops input for contingency plans in the event of full/partial mobilization ensure viable food service support in the event of war.
• Serves as the Food Service Technician on the Contract Initial Source Selection Board.
