Quality Control Analyst performs various scientific analyses to evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods and ensure compliance with established standards. Conducts and validates various biological and chemical quality control (QC) assays. Being a Quality Control Analyst compiles, interprets, and documents statistical data from testing processes to either confirm compliance with established quality standards or identify deviations. May be responsible for establishing specifications for conducting assays and writing standard operating procedures. Additionally, Quality Control Analyst typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Quality Control Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Description:
100% onsite
Shift hours would be 5x8 first shift, with a start time of 7:30AM - 4:00PM
Day to Day tasks:
Collection of various samples on campus: environmental monitoring, critical utilities, gas /compressed air collection.
What are the 3 technical must-have skills required for this role?
Environmental Monitoring, Water Collection, Gas/Compressed Air Collection
What are the preferred skills?
Bioburden Testing, Plate Enumeration/Reading, Endotoxin Testing
Possible expansion into lab testing, for assays such as Bioburden, Endotoxin.
Data entry / Review.
Maintenance and cleaning of routine equipment.
Collaborate on procedure revisions, as more experience is accrued, to drive process improvements.
Any previous laboratory experience preferred but not required.
Education Level: Bachelors Degree
