Being a Quality Control Inspector records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Quality Control Inspector typically reports to a supervisor. The Quality Control Inspector may require 0-1 year of general work experience.     Responsibilities:
    Inspect precision parts to specification from blueprints
    Apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, blueprint reading, metals properties, layout and machining procedures
    Use of small hand tools, micrometers and calipers
    Use of coordinate measuring machine
    Maching, welding, and/or welding experience
    Blueprint reading experience
    Knowledge & use of measuring instruments

    Qualifications
    High school diploma, G.E.D, or associates degree in a related field required
    2 years of related machine shop parts inspection experience or equivalent education
    Basic Trigonometry and geometry mathematical machinist skills
    Must be able to pass background check and drug test at the time you apply
