Quality Generalist Manager jobs in Dover, DE
Quality Generalist Manager develops and administers policies and procedures for evaluating and improving the quality of products, materials, components and/or manufacturing processes. Makes recommendations to ensure production runs meet established quality standards and predicted yields. Being a Quality Generalist Manager ensures employees follow established procedures and complete quality assurance work within time and budgetary constraints. May be responsible for ensuring products meet international quality standards such as ISO 9001. Additionally, Quality Generalist Manager works across a variety of quality assurance disciplines. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Quality Generalist Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Quality Generalist Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. *Developmental Disabilities/Program Manager
Do you enjoy working with people with developmental disabilities? Do you have experience with supervising staff, managing residential programs, overseeing people with special needs, and experience with licensing standards?
You will add value by:
- Leading and guiding residential staff in assessing individual strengths and needs
- Being a part of creating a safe and positive environment for the individuals in the residence
- Modeling and supervising positive staff communication/written and verbal
- Performing supervisory duties
- Adhering to the agency policies and procedures and state licensing requirements
- The development and implementation of individual habilitation plans
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in human service or related field preferred
- Experience/background working with individuals with behaviorals
- Experience working with people with disabilities in a community setting
- Computer skills necessary
- Flexible work hours
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Physical exam
- Some of our positions require the ability to work with challenging behaviors
