Quality Generalist Manager develops and administers policies and procedures for evaluating and improving the quality of products, materials, components and/or manufacturing processes. Makes recommendations to ensure production runs meet established quality standards and predicted yields. Being a Quality Generalist Manager ensures employees follow established procedures and complete quality assurance work within time and budgetary constraints. May be responsible for ensuring products meet international quality standards such as ISO 9001. Additionally, Quality Generalist Manager works across a variety of quality assurance disciplines. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Quality Generalist Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Quality Generalist Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The preferred candidate will be on-site and will reside in the Bloomington, MN Metro area or in MN. The position is open to Remote for candidates in PA, MN, CO and NV only. Relocation assistance is not available.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
This position will lead, develop and implement marketing strategies for our proprietary bike brand, Surly. This position will also execute flawless go-to-market plans effectively reaching and engaging our customers. This position will help bring product and brand stories to life, driving customer engagement while building brand loyalty, ultimately generating consumer and retailer demand. This position will work very closely with Product and Sales teams, digital marketing, ecommerce, communications, and creative teams to collaborate on strategies and execute marketing campaigns.
