Role: Mobile X-Ray and EKG Technologist
Job Description:
We are seeking a Mobile X-Ray and EKG Technologist to provide services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. As a technologist, you will be responsible for performing and processing X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment. Additionally, you may need to perform EKGs and transmit them for interpretation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment
- Unload portable X-Ray equipment and perform exams ordered by the physician, obtaining clinically diagnostic and technically competent x-ray images
- Perform EKGs and transmit them for interpretation (if required)
- Scan exam-related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis
- Regularly communicate with dispatch, management, peers, supervisory staff, and clients
- Maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment
Requirements:
- Maintain required State licenses and/or ARRT Certification, health requirements, and operational requirements
- Valid driver's license in the applicable state and in good current standing
- COVID-19 Vaccinated (Proof must be submitted in candidate packet at the time of submission)
Physical Demands:
The job requires the ability to push/pull anywhere from 50 to 100 lbs. The weight may decrease with the use of vehicle ramps and pulleys. However, the weight can increase when pushing/pulling equipment in a facility or home. Around 50 lbs of force (or more) may occur 16 to 24 times a day.
