Racing and Sports Manager manages and directs the racing and sports book daily activities. Oversees racing and sports betting and ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. Being a Racing and Sports Manager may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Racing and Sports Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Being a Baseball Coordinator with i9 Sports gives you the opportunity to teach core values and create lasting memories with kids in the Tallahassee community, all while having fun and earning money.

    The i9 sports Baseball Coordinator position is a part-time position working Saturdays only during our fall, winter and spring seasons. Each season lasts 7 weeks. It’s ideal for the busy parent, professional or student who loves coaching and can commit to it on the weekend.     DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Set up and take down of fields
    • Communicate with baseball parents and children
    • Ensure practice and games start and end on time
    • Coach when needed (if a parent coach is unable to make the game to coach)
    • Work directly with other i9 Sports staff

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 18 years old with some experience working with school-age children
    • Cleared criminal history and fingerprint check
    • Experience in coaching and playing baseball
    • Have transportation to and from the gym

    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Enjoys working with children
    • Connects and works well with both children and adults
