Racing and Sports Manager manages and directs the racing and sports book daily activities. Oversees racing and sports betting and ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. Being a Racing and Sports Manager may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Racing and Sports Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Both Bridgton Sports Camp and Kents Hill Sports Camp offer the best of both worlds! Our campers will "major" in a specific sport while experiencing everything that traditional camp has to offer. Coaches and counselors have the unique opportunity to design and run a program for the sport / activity they are teaching and coaching. Both of our facilities are state-of-the-art and include soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, baseball, and softball fields.
Additionally, BSC and KHSC feature an indoor, hardwood basketball court, a fitness center, and ice hockey rink on site! Bridgton Sports Camp is located in the town of Bridgton, Maine (on Long Lake), while Kents Hill Sports Camp is located in the town of Readfield, Maine (on Lovejoy Pond). Both camps are about an hour from the Maine coastline and the City of Portland and are about two and a half hours from Boston. In addition to salary and room/board, travel allowance is included.
