Radiation Technician collects, tests and analyzes materials of nuclear powered electric generating plant. May require an associate's degree or its equivalent with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Radiation Technician has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Additionally, Radiation Technician works under immediate supervision. Responsibilities
Administers radiation treatments accurately and efficiently per the physician�s orders and according to simulation instructions. Treats patients in a caring and professional manner, which instills a positive image of St. Clare�s and confidence in the care provided.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
2. ARRT-R is required.
3. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
4. Current BCLS (AHA).
5. Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES
6. At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
7. Proficient computer skills.
