Radio Frequency Engineer jobs in Philadelphia, PA

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain land mobile radio (LMR) systems for public safety agencies, government organizations, and private companies.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their communication needs and Install customized LMR solutions.
• Mount antennas, install coaxial cables, and set up base stations and repeaters.
• Conduct system testing, alignment, and optimization to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to LMR equipment.
• Provide training to end-users on LMR system operation and maintenance.
• Keep accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in LMR installation or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in reading technical diagrams and schematics.
• Experience with various LMR equipment, including handheld radios, mobile units, and repeaters.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
