Radiologic Technologist jobs in Rochester, NY

Position is located in Rochester, New York. We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our team. Salary is S2880 per week or $72/hr. This is a contract position for 13 weeks. 8hrs shift Evenings

Responsibilities:
-Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations.
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment
-Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure proper radiation protection measures are in place to prevent      unnecessary exposure to radiation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies.
- Ensure the cleanse and functionality of X-ray equipment
-Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.


Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Trained in operating X-ray equipment and related technology


Requirements:
ARRT Certification - Strong Fluoroscopy and OR skills - Looking for someone who rates high in this area.
Recent acute care or surgery center experience with portable CARM experience.
NYS DOH Rad Tech Licensure (prior to start date)
An out of state Rad Tech License is allowed  (must apply and receive the NYS license prior to their start date)
Full Time Evenings | Sunday - Thursday (5 X 8hr Shifts) | 3:30pm - 12:00 midnight
Rotating weekend on-call responsibilities
Flex agency 3 times within the length of the contract
Moderate Sedation, OR, ED Trauma and Fluoroscopy Exams
Start as soon as possible
No RTO during Christmas Week
NO accept local candidates within 50 miles!
