Entry Level Medical Biller - (Radiology)

The position of a Medical Biller is responsible for managing multiple payer insurance claims. Ensuring clean claim submissions, monitoring and processing denials, delinquent accounts, follow up insurance, appeals, taking payments and making payment arrangements.

Essential Functions

• Prepare, review, and transmit claims to designated payers with appropriate documentation.
• Research and appeal denials in a timely manner
• Correspond with patients and insurance companies.
• Process all denials, rejections, priority HMOs, and insurance with short timely filing limits.
• File appeals and contact payers to fruition.
• Working knowledge of CPT/ICD10 Codes
• Knowledge of eligibility and benefits
• Ability to read and interpret EOB’s.
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Completion of an accredited medical billing and coding program - recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• 1 years of medical billing experience - recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• High school diploma
• Knowledge of PPO, HMO, IPA, CMS, Managed Medi-caid/Managed
• Working knowledge of CPT/ICD10 Codes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
