McCormick Taylor is seeking a Noise Analyst to join our growing organization. This position could report out of the following McCormick Taylor offices including Glen Allen or Verona (VA), Raleigh (NC) and Columbia (SC). We are seeking an experienced Noise modeler/scientist with TNM 2.5 and GIS and CADD knowledge interested in joining an establish firm well known in the Air and Noise fields. 

The responsibilities for this role will include: data collection, noise monitoring, modeling, analysis, and report writing to assess and document noise impacts and potential noise mitigation measures associated with transportation improvement projects during the NEPA analysis process. 
The successful candidate will be capable of working effectively in both the office and field. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, self-starting team player who is organized and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.

•    0-2 years of experience
•    B.S. or M.S. in Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field is require
•    Proficiency in TNM 2.5, Microstation, AutoCAD, and/or ArcGIS (ArcMap, 3D Analyst, and Spatial Analyst) is preferred
•    Knowledge of state and federal (FHWA) noise policies and procedures are a huge plus
•    Excellent communications skills and technical writing skills are a must
