Description
You will play a key role in integrating our backend and frontend into one seamless system. We are looking for somebody who is able to integrate API's and data pulled from the backend into a frontend dashboard/UI where the data will be visualized.
Connecting backend API endpoints and pulling data
Building frontend UI for backend data to be visualized
Building and running data pipelines using SQL and various ETL tools.
Operating and maintaining automated systems and software in production environments.
Collaborating with teams to integrate systems, diagnose issues, and implement fixes.
Using the APIs of a diverse range of platforms to facilitate automation and data processes.
Continuously improving our systems for scalability, security, and performance.

Why You Would Want to Work on this Project
Client is closed 19 days throughout the calendar year (11 Holidays and 8 Free Days). Free Days are a designated Th&Fri each quarter that client is shut down. Currently contractors are paid 9 hours for each the free days. TEK provides the ability to accrue 10 days of PTO per year to help offset the 11 holidays. Possible to have 18 days paid through the year which is almost equivalent to a full work month paid.

Work Environment
Remote team. Mostly based on EST, but location isn't a deal breaker as long as they are in continental US.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
What we need to see:
Expertise in API integrations, workflow automation, and pulling data from a backend database
Experience connecting backend API's to a frontend UI where data will be visualized. Must be able to build both frontend and backend from scratch
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Portfolio of previous work demonstrating your experience and expertise.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Interview Information
Two Teams interviews (both 30 minutes; Director and Lead team member).

Business Challenge
The team is building out their Data Center solutions at the Cloud Service Providers and they need a developers who can create API integrations and prepare systems for continued scalability and automation.
Pay Rate
$60.00-70/hour
