Responsible for overseeing the storage, backup, maintenance, reproduction, protection, and disposition of all records. Being a Records Supervisor evaluates and recommends media formats and storage requirements to be used for records/information. Provides training and guidance to end users. Additionally, Records Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Job Summary: Responsible for assisting with all facets of the medical record system. Works with the MR Coordinator to ensure medical record compliance.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred. Two years work experience in medical records preferred including exposure to coding, medical transcription, quantitative record analysis and data retrieval for quality assurance. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills, medical terminology and excellent computer skills.
