Job Summary:
The Sales Specialist position has operations in the U.S. and has overall responsibility for engaging customers, driving sales of shed buildings, trailers, truck accessories, and additional store products, while delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term customer relationships. This position reports directly to the Store Manager and has zero direct reports.
Job Responsibilities:
· Engage with potential customers on the lot, offering product demonstrations and answering questions about shed buildings, truck accessories, and trailers.
· Develop a deep understanding of the features, advantages, and benefits of the products offered to provide expert advice and tailored solutions for customers.
· Conduct needs assessments to understand each customer’s specific requirements, including budget, space constraints, and intended use of products.
· Build rapport with customers by listening to their concerns, offering recommendations, and maintaining a customer-first approach to sales.
· Guide customers through the sales process, from initial consultation to final purchase, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
· Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop and implement strategies that drive foot traffic and maximize sales opportunities on the lot.
· Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective lead generation, follow-up, and closing techniques.
· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels to ensure seamless operations and efficient sales reporting.
· Assist with the layout and maintenance of the sales lot, ensuring products are displayed attractively and are easily accessible for customers.
· Provide after-sales support by assisting with product delivery coordination, answering post-purchase questions, and facilitating warranty claims or service requests.
· Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new product offerings, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
· Actively participate in sales meetings, product training sessions, and company events to continually enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
· This position requires the candidate to fulfill all daily duties of a Manager on Duty and act as a key carrier. On scheduled days, this individual may be the sole manager in the building and is expected to take full responsibility for leading operations, ensuring employee performance, customer satisfaction, safety, and overall store security. They will manage opening and closing procedures, handle escalated issues, and maintain a proactive, solution-oriented presence to support both staff and customers.
· Use proven sales techniques to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
· Support sales of other in-store items during slower periods for shed and trailer sales, including but not limited to seasonal items, landscaping tools, or general merchandise.

Education/Experience Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED (required)
· Previous experience in the construction, automotive, or home improvement industries.
· Knowledge of shed building construction, trailer specifications, or truck accessory installations.
· Experience with CRM software for tracking leads and sales performance.

Physical Requirements
