    Responsibilities

    • Required to set up and run plastic and rubber molding machines, mixer, and pulverizers
    • Operator must be able to visually inspect for color and imperfections and make changes as required.
    • Must be able to perform preventive maintenance tasks.
    • Operators will work on an elevated demolding platform requiring good balance and a non-apprehension towards height.
    • Operators will mix resin and cut rubber requiring accurate measurement of pounds and grams.
    • Uses a variety of hand tools such as pneumatic wrenches and small trimming tools.
    • Must be safety conscious and be familiar with safety precautions for handling different chemicals.
    • Works from supervisor's written or verbal instructions.
    • Must understand all labor reporting methods and how to use the computer.

    Physical Requirements

    • Lift up to 80 pounds.
    • Handle potential hot and humid conditions.
    • Regular standing, walking, climbing, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting
