Refinery Operator controls equipment systems that process natural gas or petroleum into specified products. Responsibilities include monitoring pressure and flow and reading gauges and adjusting valves as needed. Being a Refinery Operator requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Refinery Operator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To Join RTFC in protecting our clients and their surrounding communities apply to become an Industrial Firefighter: $45,898.78 Beginning base pay $55,922.54 Upon successful completion of Recruit School training $68,823.16 Upon completion of required certifications Required qualifications: · A minimum of a High School Diploma, or GED Equivalent. · Must be 18 years old or older (no age cut-off) · Possess a current, valid US driver’s license with good driving record · Able to verify eligibility to work in the United States Special Qualifications: · Must pass physical agility test, drug testing & background investigation · Live or relocate within a forty-five (45) minute drive time from the RTFC Main Station · Ability to follow instructions and take direction · Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card.
