Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to facilitate the safe and efficient movement of materials within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Duties

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment for loading, unloading, and transporting materials within the warehouse.
• Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and manage order picking processes.
• Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all items are correctly selected and prepared for shipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with OSHA safety standards.
• Assist in materials handling tasks, including organizing and storing products in designated areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment in a warehouse setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and order picking processes is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and order verification.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations is essential.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing time efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
