• Possess high school diploma or equivalent
• Appropriate licenses
• 3 years’ experience in school food service
• Skilled in the use of a computer and other office equipment
• Prior bookkeeping experience
• Required criminal history review background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

Assist in managing and coordinating the day-to-day food service operations of all schools; assure compliance with District, State, and Federal requirements and laws regarding nutrition, sanitation, safety and record keeping.

Food Service Manager

Performance Responsibilities:

• Assist food service manager with monthly posting of revenues
• Assist food service manager with the day to day food service operations
• Inspect lunchroom and kitchen area daily to assure compliance with health, safety and sanitation requirements and regulations.
• Prepare and report records from edit checks for Child Nutrition Program voucher each month for state/federal reimbursements.
• Assist in menu planning and marketing
• Receive all calls to office and direct to proper area
• Input food orders in data base
• Input inventory and lunch applications in data base
• Participates in, schedules and attends in-service meetings and workshops related to assignment.
• Communicate with students, staff, faculty and outside organizations to exchange information, receive suggestions, and resolve issues related to food service.
• Performs other duties consistent with the position assigned as may be requested by the Food Service Manager or Superintendent.
• Perform all other responsibilities and duties as may be assigned by the Superintendent of Schools and/or his/her designees.

• Contract year: July 1 to June 30
• Salary Range: $45,000-$55,000

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
