Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for Central Sterile department within Surgical Services. Develops and directs the day-to-day personnel and services of Central Sterile including, but not limited to Decontamination, Sterile Processing, OR Core equipment maintenance to assure that instrumentation is appropriately processed for each case and records are appropriately kept. Produces and monitors top-quality programs within established goals for financial and marketing accountability while adhering to the hospital mission and total quality management principles. Participates in the development and ongoing support of the hospital and its strategic plan.

What qualifications you will need:

• 3 years Sterile Processing or Operating Room experience
• Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT), or Certified Surgical Technician (CST), or Certified Registered Central Service Technician
• Basic Cardiac Life Support - American Red Cross or American Heart Association
